Unmarried Couples

Couples who live together and are not married, may wish to have a ‘living together agreement’ in place.

This sets out clearly the terms of ownership of assets, including those assets owned by each party before they live together. This ensures that, if the relationship then breaks down, there can be no argument relating to ownership of assets.

We can put together these agreements, as well as pre-nuptual agreements for couples before they get married. If a relationship breaks down, without one of these agreements in place, we can also help to resolve issues around asset ownership, either in or out of the courts.
